To the TeamLI 99 family: do you remember when she joined Team Long Island? Angel started talking about HS grades, colleges and showcases when they were very young. Do you recall the first camp or clinic she attended? The entire recruiting process is over for the TLI99 girls, but it’s time to pay it forward.

We all know young, talented girls who have questions about playing college softball. Should she target a D1, D2 or D3 school? How important is their GPA? SAT? How often should she e-mail a college coach? The best advice you can give her and her family is talk to college coaches. Let them know about the NY Coaches Clinic. Thank you.

Team Long Island 99 Ranked 22nd Nationally

HICKSVILLE, NY – Congratulations to Team Long Island 99 for being ranked 22nd nationally according to the US Club Rankings of 16U fastpitch softball teams for the 2016 calendar year. Here is the methodology that US Club Rankings used:

“The 16u FINAL National Rankings is an on field performance based formula. Each National event is weighted based upon the number of teams in attendance, the diversity in states represented in the event and the competitive nature or format of the event.”

During the 2016 season, we had the privilege of competing against teams listed in the US Club Rankings Top 200:
